Leaderboard

The strategy leaderboard ranks the crypto perpetual strategies running on AlphaFox, paper and live, by their real run data. Compare returns and drawdown over a window, open the detail to check the record, then copy public parameters into your own paper or trading account—you copy parameters, not returns. Open it at Plaza → Leaderboard.

What’s on the page

The list only includes strategies whose ROI for the selected window is above -30%. Deeply losing strategies don’t appear, so don’t read the leaderboard as the average of all strategies.
Reading a card

“Public” means the owner shares strategy details, so you can see the config and copy it. “Private” shows only metrics and the curve and can’t be copied. Data days turn to a warning color below 75% of the selected window and to the loss color below half.

If filters leave nothing, click Clear filters to return to the default view.
Is a strategy worth copying?
Switch to 90D or longer
The default 30D window is short and flatters strategies that got lucky recently. Use the Window dropdown to pick 90D, 365D, or ALL.
Read max drawdown first
Imagine the deepest drawdown happening right after you copy. If you couldn’t sit through it, skip the strategy no matter how high the ROI.
Then data days and the curve
Data days in a warning or loss color mean the record is shorter than the window, so don’t trust it yet. A smooth climb beats a curve propped up by one or two big candles.
Check trade frequency
Does the 24h trade count match the pace you want? The more it trades, the more fees and slippage shape the result.
Open the detail
Click an empty area of the card or the strategy name to open the “Trader detail” window. For a shareable URL, middle-click the strategy name or open it in a new tab: that loads the standalone page /en/dashboard/leaderboard/{strategy ID}. Public strategies show Strategy config, positions, and order history; private ones show only metrics and the curve.
Copying a strategy
Each card has two buttons in its top-right corner:

You copy parameters, not returns. When the market phase changes, the same parameters can produce very different results, and the owner sized positions for their own capital. Run your first copy on paper and confirm it behaves as expected before going live.
Red flags on any copy-trading leaderboard
These four signals should stop you on any platform’s leaderboard. The difference on AlphaFox is that you can check them, because every ranked strategy has a detail page with its full performance record:
- Short-window ROI as the headline. A +60% week means little; switch to 90D, 365D, or ALL before judging.
- ROI without drawdown. Two strategies with the same ROI can differ wildly in the dip you’d sit through. Always read them together.
- Paper results presented as live. Paper validates behavior, not real fills and fees. On AlphaFox, tick “Live only” or check the execution account on the detail page; if a leaderboard elsewhere doesn’t say which, assume paper.
- History you can’t open. Without the full record you can’t audit the ROI. Open the detail page before you copy.
How your own strategy appears
Strategies running on AlphaFox join the ranking once they have performance data. Whether others can see the config and copy it depends on the “Share strategy details” switch: open the strategy in Strategy → My strategies, click Strategy config, turn “Share strategy details” on or off in “Edit strategy config”, then click Save config. With it off, the leaderboard shows “Private” with metrics and the curve only.
Strategies created with Paper or “Copy this strategy” start with “Share strategy details” turned on.
